Please do not come in if you have had symptoms of illness in the past 48 hours. Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting, body aches and sudden loss of taste or smell. Whether you suspect you may have a cold, flu, or COVID, we ask you to stay home.
If someone in your household is ill, or you feel you may be coming down with something, we ask that you wear a mask during your treatment or stay home.
If you have any questions or concerns about exposure or symptoms, please give us a call. We can help you figure out when to come in and if you will need to mask while here. If you need to cancel, we'll waive the cancellation fee.
Mask Policy: Masks Optional
Face masks are optional in our clinic, meaning that patients may choose whether to mask or not. We continue to provide complimentary surgical masks. Our acupuncturists continue to wear masks in the community treatment room.
Our acupuncturists mask as-needed. We mask when treating patients who are masked or if we have any concerns that we might be contagious. If you prefer that we mask with you, please let us know, we're happy to do so.
Please wear a mask during your treatment if someone in your household is ill or if you feel you may be starting to get sick. If you have symptoms, please see our illness policy above.
Coughing can be disruptive in the treatment room. If you are coughing during your treatment, a member of our staff will offer you a cough drop and/or a drink of water. Most patients find it uncomfortable to cough with needles in and prefer to get up if their cough persists. If you prefer to stay, and are not disrupting other patients, we may ask you to wear a mask.
Cleaning and Sanitizing
All chairs are sanitized between patients. We use a product called Rejuvenate to wipe down our chairs. The active ingredient is accelerated hydrogen peroxide.
Air purifiers with HEPA filters are run throughout the clinic.
Social Distancing
To control traffic flow, we only accept patients with an appointment, no walk-ins. However, same-day appointments are often available. Please call to find out if we have space or to get on the waitlist, in case of cancellations.
Our community treatment room has 6 chairs, spaced at least 6 feet apart. We treat up to 5 patients per hour. Sessions typically last about an hour from start to finish, allowing patients to rest 30-45 minutes with the needles.
