Illness Policy: Stay Home if You Are Sick
- Please do not come in if you have had symptoms of illness in the past 48 hours, especially fever or diarrhea. Whether you suspect you may have a cold, flu, or COVID, we ask you to stay home.
- If someone in your household is ill, or you feel you may be coming down with something, we ask that you wear a mask during your treatment.
- If you have any questions or concerns about exposure or symptoms, please give us a call so we can help you figure out your best plan. If you need to cancel due to illness, we'll waive the cancellation fee.
- Patients are welcome to wear a mask if that is more comfortable for whatever reason. Complimentary surgical masks are available.
- Our acupuncturists mask-up if we have any concern that we might be contagious. If you prefer that we mask with you, please let us know, we're happy to do so.
- We ask patients to mask if they might be contagious. If you have symptoms, please see our illness policy above.
- Coughing can be disruptive in the treatment room. If you are coughing during your treatment, we can bring you a cough drop or a drink of water. If your cough persists, we may need to have you cut your treatment short.
- All chairs are sanitized between patients. We use a product called Rejuvenate to wipe down our chairs. The active ingredient is accelerated hydrogen peroxide.
- Air purifiers with HEPA filters are run throughout the clinic.
